Where I got my ideas for my magazine

In this blogpost you will see where i got all of my ideas from for my music magazine, Starting with the front cover..

These two images of two Kerrang! front covers are where I got the ideas for my music magazine, I took different ideas and made them into my own, the one major thing that I kept the same was the colours, I stuck to the idea of them being dark, since dark colors represent darkness which also represents what most rock / metal bands sing about

The next image is where i got my ideas for my content page, but with a few changes..

 This is the content page that I got my ideas from, but once again referring back to my magazine cover, I chose to keep the colors dark

This next image was the image that got me thinking for my double page spread, it made me want to make the text be about an exclusive interview and for the text to be on one side of the page with the main part of the image on the other..

This next image is what i wanted my magazine to be the opposite of, so the colors and the main image stood out from one another, i wanted to make sure the dark colors would stand out from the brightly colored magazines such as the following..
